The Light

O Lord, let it be Your plan to guide me
Guide me by Your hand
O Lord, let me hear Your Word, and teach me
To help me understand

The world that we live in is fallen
No one can hear the Spirit calling
And by the generation
We’re further from salvation

But when the Son was left forsaken
Eternal life was for the taking
And that’s revelation
The gift for all creation

The darkness won’t consume the light
The Light, the Light
Like rays of sun that end the night
That end the night, for us to know what’s right

So will you hear the Spirit calling
Instead of hearing someone else
Like most these days
Lost to noise amongst themselves

Don’t sell your soul it isn’t worth it
And is it worth to gain the world
And lose your soul
Get so high for you to fall?

O Lord, make our ways be straight
And strengthen, us for coming days
And let us rejoice in Your saving grace

Like Word in flesh became alive 
And glorified the One they crucified
For what is Yours to be revived
